The Microsoft 365 official launch has been successful. There has been a lot of great feedback from campus despite a handful of ongoing housekeeping efforts. Here is a brief summary of those common outstanding items:
- Old student employee (“se”) email accounts are deprecated as planned and we are continuing to help departments with this adjustment to regular email accounts for all student employees.
- Calendar and inbox delegate permissions are being re-established manually. These did not carry over in the migration.
- Permissions for group email lists are also being re-established.
There is a long list of these permissions and the team is working through to process these as quickly as possible, and we are doing our best to prioritize according to highest operational impact.
