Friday, March 11, 2022, at around 7pm IT received reports of students with inaccessible emails. Since that time the IT teams have been investigating and resolving the issue. We are still looking into the root cause and any other effects to access this may have caused. Work has been done to re-enable a significant number of accounts and many are now accessible again. Due to the volume of tickets pertaining to this incident, your issue may be fixed, but your ticket has not yet been updated. We are putting out notifications in our systems for students to spread the word until we can get through our listings. Thank you 🙂
This issue was due to a clean-up process in the Midpoint system that changed the roles of students in the system. A full analysis was completed to ensure the root cause determined and the correct steps have been taken to prevent the issue from occurring again.
