Video conferencing service Zoom has confirmed it’s suffering an outage across the U.S. and Europe.
The company’s service status page confirms that meetings and video webinars are facing “partial outages.” Chat, phone, and other auxiliary services are currently working as normal.
Down Detector has recorded a sharp spike in issues, and shows that U.S. east coast has been hit the worst by the issues. 70% of users reported problems logging in, 15% had issues with the Zoom website, and 13% were struggling with server connections.
“We have received reports of users being unable to visit the Zoom website (zoom.us) and unable to start and join Zoom Meetings and Webinars,” the company said in a statement.”We are currently investigating and will provide updates as we have them.”
